Hello Everyone,

I have an Archer AX6000. I have a wireless schedule defined that turns off the WIFI from 11pm - 6am for parental control reasons. Purpose is to keep my kids off of the internet at night. The kids have discovered all they have to do is come downstairs and press the physical WIFI button the front of the router and the WIFI just turns back on. I have tested this myself - it's a simple as that. Does anyone have any tips for this? I was really quite surprised (and disappointed) it's this easy to circumvent the wireless schedule controls.

Thanks,

Charlie

  @Haderach

That should not happen. TP Link needs to fix that.

My old  Extender (RE220) does not have a WIFI button and as I recall, it has the settings to set the time of WIFI. They are not expensive.

Just put the kids on the Extender and change the WIFI on the router.
