Is it okay to locate the extender outside under a covered porch? It will be exposed to heat ( not direct sun) cold, humidity, etc.
Can it be there year round?

Range Extender is a home product and is not suitable for outdoor environments.
In addition, no matter what network product it is, it is not recommended to be directly exposed to heat, cold, humidity.
You can consider outdoor products, but you must also take appropriate waterproof protection measures.
