Model: Archer AX1800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.6 Build 20241203 rel.64133(5553)

The model, above is for the extender and the hardware versions and firmware are for the router. I do not understant TP-Link naming conventions with the admin screen on the router showing AXE7800 but the modle actually being an AXE95.

Trying to connect the range extender to the router using WPS but fails. A couple of things to note. According to the documantation that came with thw range extender the blue power LED is supposed to come on solid blue but it starts and stays blinking for quite a while before going solid. It will sometimes come on solid but quickly switch to blinking for a long time before changing to solid again. Is that because it's trying to connect to the router or is there an issue with the extender?

The router is set to WPS on and I have enabled 6 GHz, changed the SSID and password, and left everything else stock. Am I missing something?
