Model: Archer AX73  
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.2

Hello Everyone,

 

For the Archer AX73, there is different firmware for V2 and V2.6.  Of course, I'm manually updating the firmware.   AND I'm disapointed that automatic updates can't be turned on after initial setup.

 

For the SAME Archer AX73: the sticker on the AX73 says 2.6  and the  management says 2.0.

Which version is it?

OK.  I did more checking....

For the Archer AX73

  ....  Vx.0=Vx.6  ....

So 2.0 = 2.6

 

HOWEVER,

 

In downloads we can select either V2.6 or V2

 

Selecting V2 shows the latest as:

 

            Archer AX73(US)_V2_1.1.2 Build 20250210

 

Selecting V2.6 shows the latest as:

 

           Archer AX73(US)_V2.6_1.1.2 Build 20250210

 

Hmm, two different file names!  And yet the downloaded file for each of these are 

named:  Archer AX73_V2_20250210.zip

And the md5 sums for these downloads match.  So, yes these are the same files.

 

This is a GREAT method of weeding out the nubies.
