When I turn the lights on in the application they only stay on for about half a minute. Is this the way it's supposed to be? If so is there a way to keep then on much longer!

Hi,
Typically, if you leave the camera's live view page and no event is detected, the camera will enter sleep mode to conserve power. The spotlight will turn off automatically when the camera enters sleep mode. If you want the spotlight on longer, you can leave your phone on the camera's live view page.
