TP-Link Enhances Matter Compatibility with Energy Monitoring via Firmware Update
The Tapo P110M is the first device to receive the feature via a firmware update (1.3.2), and you can expect the update to arrive on your devices over the next few weeks, if it has not already.
“All Matter-certified devices with energy monitoring will eventually support Matter energy monitoring functionality via firmware updates. Currently, the update is being rolled out first to the Tapo P110M – please ensure all your devices are updated to the latest version.”
While we cannot provide any early details about further compatibility updates for other models, and plans can always change, you can be confident that the teams are working on expanding the functions and compatibility of all our Matter devices - from Robot Vacuums to Smart Plugs.
