does BE9700 support ethernet backhaul?
You would think this would be an easy thing to answer, but I'm completely confused about it. TP-Link has several different routers with "BE9700" in the name, and yet there is no BE9700 in the "Model" dropdown in this forum.
This is the one I am talking about: https://www.tp-link.com/us/home-networking/wifi-router/archer-be9700/ It says it's EasyMesh compatible in the specs. The user manual which I just downloaded describes how to set up a mesh by wiring the main router to the satellite.
When I go to this page (https://www.tp-link.com/us/easymesh/product-list/#wi-fi-routers), it's not listed under any of the backhaul connection filters. If I go to the recommended forum thread for ethernet backhaul (https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/593722), I don't find it mentioned at all.
I hope you can see why I'm confused. Should I trust the user manual? I don't want to take a chance on buying a mesh router that does not support wired backhaul. (It's OK. I have a tin-foil hat to protect me from the extra radio waves. I just like wires. :-))
