@ar31484  It is clearly the new firmware, and it drops all connections every morning. I tried setting a daily reboot at 3:00am, and I stayed up to see that happen. It rebooted and reconnected fine. I thought that it would be ok, but when I awoke at 7:30am, all connections dropped!!!!  The SSID is still broadcast, but you can't connect to it... "Connection Failed". The prior 1.2.0 firmware didn't have this issue, although it would cut out frequently throughout the day, it would never go full ZOMBIE. I bought this expensive router to "say good-bye" to weak signals and limitations, but I'm now on my second one. The first one would create numerous ghost SSIDS on "0" channel, and OPEN. This second unit eliminated that issue, but the firmware 1.3.0 really did it in.

I recommend that TP-Link revert to the 1.2.0 under a 1.4.0 identifier so it can overwrite this 1.3.0 junk. I'm considering returning this router - Do you have a suggestion for which other brand and model would be your next choice @ar31484?  I really like that I can add USB drives to this to function as a NAS, but the connection is very unstable, even to the point of cutting out during a file transfer. I can't believe it. The 1.2.0 had this issue, and the 1.3.0 still has the issue, but sucks 10-fold because of the ZOMBIE feature that the firmware engineers introduced a month ago.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The fear is that even if the firmware engineers correct this issue, I know it can pop up again in a future firmware release. This fear can really lead me to return this unit. There is a real fear and anxiety that I want to get away from. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't understand why tech support seems so oblivious to the issues. It adds to the frustration, you dears. Stop asking us to solve. It's like Kash Patel asking the shooter's family to solve other FBI cases.

@Squair Try the beta version 1.3.1. It worked for me as I was having the exact problems. It's inconceiveable why TP-Link refuses to take the bad 1.3.0 firmware down. The must be bricking thousands of BE805 routers. Also, there's some strange bugs when using the router as a storage device through the USB ports. TP-Link knows about the problems as I had them duplicate them but no fix so far. I gave up using it after 6 months as I needed something more reliable.
