No matter what I do it auto negotiates to 100Mbps full duplex and I want changed to 1000Mbps. my starlink router gets about (280Mbps directly) in bypass I'm stuck at 100?? I have cat5e.

What router do you have?

 

Many times it is the Ethernet cable or the connector. Try a different cable and also check for bent or damaged pins in both the modem and the router. 

 

Some routers have a speed setting that may need to be changed.
