If you already have an Archer BE9300, I would echo DVair's suggestion and lean toward considering a Wi-Fi 7 EasyMesh extender. Introducing a Deco node to an Archer Wi-Fi network would require using the Deco app to manage the AP Deco, while also needing to use either the Tether app or a web browser to manage your main Archer BE9300.

Although it is doable, it would introduce additional steps for managing your network, as opposed to using an EasyMesh Wi-Fi 7 TP-Link Range Extender, which would allow for more uniform expansion and management of your existing network equipment. Additionally, you can still utilize Ethernet backhaul for an EasyMesh Satellite device that supports this feature, such as our RE653BE.

As for the advantages of using a second Archer BE9300 instead of a Range Extender, here are a few reasons I could quickly think of:

• Additional Ethernet ports on the BE9300 so you can connect additional wired devices at the EasyMesh Satellite location. The single Ethernet port on the RE653BE would be used for Ethernet backhaul, leaving no additional Ethernet ports available for wired devices at the satellite location
   
• Traditional router placement options (e.g., on a shelf instead of directly into a power outlet) for the BE9300

• Identical antenna array, hardware, and Wi-Fi band configuration between two BE9300s.

There are also preference-related elements to consider, such as aesthetics and pricing.
