Could you provide a few additional details about your setup?

 

  1. Which Deco model(s) are you using?
  2. What is the specific error that you are receiving?
  3. Who is your Internet provider?
  4. Is the main Deco connected to a modem? Or is it a modem + router gateway?

 

In the meantime, if you have cable Internet, you can try the following steps to try and release, then renew the MAC (Media Access Control) binding of your modem so it can supply Internet to the Deco:

 

  1. Unplug the power from both your main Deco and cable modem
  2. Unplug the coax cable from the modem
  3. Re-connect power ONLY to your cable modem
  4. Wait until the cable modem is fully booted, then reconnect the coax
  5. Re-connect power to the main Deco and connect it to the modem via Ethernet

 

Generally speaking, this process should release and renew the MAC binding, so your modem can provide Internet connectivity to the router.
