Site says I'm using a VPN while on Deco.
While using NBA League Pass, I'm denied access because it says VPN, or out of country. How can I fix this problem? It works fine with my main modem.

Okay, I understand that when you use NBA League Pass on your Deco Mesh network, you are denied access due to a VPN or out-of-country restriction, but it works fine when connected directly to your main modem.
This issue often occurs if the Deco network is using a VPN, proxy, or certain DNS settings that may cause streaming services to detect your location incorrectly. Here are some steps you can follow to resolve this:
1. Check for VPN or Proxy:
• Make sure there is no VPN or network proxy enabled on your device (PC or phone) or within the Deco app settings. Disable any VPN or proxy services if they are active.
2. Change DNS Settings:
• Open the Deco app and go to MORE > Internet Connection.
• Change the DNS server to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8.
• After updating the DNS server, reconnect your device to the Deco network to ensure the new DNS settings take effect.
3. Check Antivirus/Real-Time Protection:
• On some Deco models, the "Antivirus" or "Real-Time Protection" feature may block websites or apps. Check the Antivirus or Real-Time Protection history in the Deco app to see if NBA League Pass is being blocked.
4. Review Parental Controls:
• Check the Parental Control settings in the Deco app, including content filtering and website blocking, to ensure NBA League Pass is not restricted.
5. ISP Comparison:
• Since NBA League Pass works when connected directly to your modem, but not through Deco, this suggests the issue is likely related to the Deco network settings rather than your ISP.
If you follow these steps and the issue persists, please let us know which step you reached and any error messages you continue to see, so we can assist you further.
