Lots of WiFi 7 Range Extenders, Tether App Logs Out More Frequently.
Also have a RE405BE, and RE605X (offline/not in use). All except the RE815XE are in the same household here/local. The Tether app helps me control an Archer AX55 Pro (V2.6 if it matters) I bought like new/mint condition but "pre-owned".
I realized that the Tether App frequently automatically logs me out of my account, and I have to frequently log in. Was this a change made to the app functionality recently or is it because the more devices I add it more frequently logs me out because of that? (I guess it could be both)?
I also have the Deco app to control my primary router BE95 getting IP Passthrough from AT&T BGW320-500, although I guess that's for the Deco section...

@jzchen Not, sure, Tether rarely logs me out. I only have the one router and extender so maybe having more can be an issue.

@DVair Thank you again for checking in and sharing your experience on my thread!
I also had very few logouts, until I added the last/latest one a RE405BE. Or at least that is when I noticed it happening more. I have my browser store my passwords for ease of logging in, but in this case each time I have to type it in. Having had my accounts broken into my current password is unpleasantly long to be typing in repeatedly....
If this thread is not locked before the next Tether update, I'll follow up here whether this improves....

I haven't been notified about this unintended behavior either.
What are the Tether App and phone OS versions? When you're frequently logged out automatically, is there any particular activity that you are performing?
What if you try removing the newly added RE405BE from the network? Will you be able to log in to your TP-Link account stably?

@Kevin_Z Android 15 October 1, 2025 update OnePlus Open phone. Tether Version 4.12.28.
I see this happen sometimes when I open the app, not logged out but missing some:

After I swipe down to refresh all remaining show up at the bottom as shown.

It's working a lot better now. (I only had to log in manually once yesterday). Should I be thanking anyone in particular, or just the TP-Link gods/spirits?....

I may have figured out what causes it to log me out. I have not tried a confirmatory test, but I suspect when I log into the AX55 Pro via IP/webGUI the app logs me out........
