Cannot get Starlink to see my Deco XE5400!
I cannot tell you the version or firmware of my Deco XE because I cannot get it online to see anything. We bought this mesh system with 4 pieces, one the main wired router and 3 nodes. It worked flawlessly in our house in Florida, we moved to Kentucky and had to get a Starlink to have internet service, The Starlink Gen 2 has worked well and we bought the Starlink Ethernet adapter and hooked up our Deco with no issues. About 2 weeks ago, Starlink must have done an update as we were watching a movie late at night. It knocked us offline completely and it did not come back online. We disconnected the Deco and finally got the Starlink back online (unplugging it 6 times to reset it). We got busy and just used the Starlink for wifi for a couple of weeks. Now we have taken the time to try to get the Deco running as a mesh network on the Starlink Gen 2 as it seemed to help keep WiFi from dropping quite frequently and it provides a firewall for security. We followed the instructions to setup the Deco, but no matter how many times we try, we cannot get the Starlink to see the Deco. We replaced the Starlink Ethernet Adapter because it seemed as if it could be the only thing causing an issue but it didn't change a thing. We have reset the Starlink (plugging an unplugging 5 times and reset the Deco numerous times, we have deleted the Deco app and it's data to try to get back to a "like new: system. I also I am totally frustrated, because that did not work either. We have switched out nodes 3 times to reset and use as the main router. Nothing we have tried works. The Starlink works fine, we are using it now but we should be able to get this Deco mesh system running again and we must be missing something although we followed the instructions on doing it. I could understand 1 node going bad, but all 4? I sure could use advice from a tech nerd? (Years ago we used to tech nerds, but now we're old and technology has passed us by it seems.)
