After so many years of people asking, still no Automatic Network Optimization. Dumping my TP-Link.
This was my second TP-Link mesh system, bought in 2022. I'm tired of having to optimize every couple of days. How hard could it be to have the system optimize itself? I'm dumping TP-Link in a few days, never to return.

Hi @psg99
Welcome to the community!
If your environment is particularly prone to routine Wi-Fi congestion and you would like to "automate" Network Optimization, I'd recommend trying the Reboot Schedule feature — How to configure the Reboot Schedule feature on Deco.
Upon reboot, your Deco will restart its Wi-Fi module and check if switching to other channels is needed based on the current wireless environment, effectively achieving the same result as automating Network Optimization.
Additionally, from what I understand, an added benefit to rebooting your Decos is that it also helps clear the system's memory/cache, which is a generally recommended troubleshooting step if you're experiencing network anomalies due to environmental factors like Wi-Fi congestion.
For example, I have my Decos scheduled to reboot weekly in the very early hours of Sunday morning. I feel like it has helped with keeping some of my more stubborn smart home devices in check.
