Hi all,

I wonder if someone can walk me through or point me to instructions to add a camera with a static ip address to our home network.  We have:

AC750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router
Model No. Archer C2

Firmware Version:0.9.1 5.0 v0032.2 Build 170228 Rel.38431n

Hardware Version:Archer C2 v1 00000002

And are trying to add a Barlus ip68 underwater camera, modelE3G5MPCX10

The camera has a static ip address of 192.168.1.88

The LAN information

IP Address:192.168.0.1

Subnet Mask:255.255.255.0

Two basic ways to do it.

One is to change the static address of the camera. For many cameras, there is software that allows you to change the static address. I have done it for LTS IP cameras I have attached to both an NVR and to a POE switch. Some camera manufactures have free software you install on your computer and you can change the camera settings. As I recall I used Hikvision software.

Two you can change the router sub net to be the same as the camera's subnet.

In your case from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.1.1 or something with 192.168.1 prefix (same as the camera)

Once to have it working, best to assign the ip address in the reservations of the router so other devices do not try to use the same IP
