Ubuntu support
I purchased an AXE5400 assuming that if it worked on Windows 10 &11, it would work on Unbuntu. After several attempts I tracked back through support to
"https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic0849228?replyid=1638998"
Is there some place in tp-link that has a listing of devices and op-systems that they support.
My real question is which devices support Ubuntu and are there version level constraints?
Thanks

@Bill-T a router should work with any operating system, it doesn't care the operating system of the client connecting to it. Just make sure your client machine is using the required security mode that you have set up on the router.
I am confused by your answer. I am attempting to add a AXE5400 (also labeled Archer TXE5400UH) to an H/P Pavilion desktop. There is no router in the system. I am following the instructions found in the article "Download for Archer AXE5400 V1.60". these instructions do not refer to any router. are there other instruction that precede
the instruction that I am following?
Thanks

@Bill-T I clicked on the model number you put into your first post and it went to the AXE5400 router page and you posted in the routers forum, that's why I wrote what I did.
Pretty sure they only supply Windows drivers, you will probably need to get help from forums that are dedicated to using Ubuntu.
