Model: Archer AX55
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.5.11

After a normal weekly automatic reboot, my router is no longer allowing any of my IoT devices to access the internet. I've tried the normal network, the IoT network and the guest network - none will work. I've don't a hard reboot and I've done an unbind and factory reset - nothing has changed. What gives?

  @ArcherC8 thanks for getting back to me - this has been resolved. I figured I'd share my findings since I didn't see anyone on the interweb talking about this issue.

I contacted TP Link support and spent 2 days troubleshooting until they discovered that my IP address was a CGNET private IP, which was preventing my IoT devices from connecting with their respective servers the way they normally do. I changed ISPs exactly a month ago and didn't have a problem with any of the previous weekly reboots - I suspect it had to do with the month rolling over.

I contacted my ISP and they were able to flip me back over to a public IP and adjust settings on their end to make sure it stays that way. If anyone out there has a smiliar problem like this, double check that you're IP is public before going crazy.

  @captainbianco

One common issue is a change was made to the router settings and the change did not take effect until the router is rebooted. So if you made a change, undo it.
Any time you make a change, reboot or power cycle the router.

One thing to look for is your wifi security settings as they may be to strong for the iot devices.
