Audio Skipping + Network Stability Issues with TP-Link Deco BE95 Mesh System
Hello everyone,
I recently upgraded both my TV setup and home network, and I’ve been having ongoing issues with my TP-Link Deco BE95 mesh system that I cannot seem to resolve. I’m hoping someone here may have insight before I completely replace the system.
Current setup:
- 3x TP-Link Deco BE95 units in a 1,600 sq ft home
- One node connected directly to the modem
- Wireless backhaul between all nodes
- Nodes spaced across opposite ends and center of the house
- Internet speeds are 1 gb
The main issue:
Whenever I stream live sports on my new LG G5 OLED TV, I get constant audio skipping/dropouts across multiple apps, including:
- Peacock
- MLB TV
- YouTube TV
The strange part is that services like Netflix and Max work perfectly with no audio issues at all.
I’ve spent months troubleshooting this:
- Tried countless Deco settings and configurations
- Read through Reddit threads and forum posts
- Worked with LG support extensively
- Had an LG technician come out, and they concluded the TV itself is not the issue and pointed toward the network
In addition to the audio problems, I’m also noticing broader network instability:
- Smart home devices (Google Home and others) disconnect randomly
- Device speed tests fluctuate wildly — sometimes showing 200 kbps, then 30 seconds later jumping back to 1.2 Gbps
- I work from home and regularly get “connection unstable” warnings during Zoom calls
At this point, I’m honestly pretty frustrated because I specifically chose the BE95 after a ton of research, assuming it would be a high-end, reliable mesh system. Instead, the network has been extremely inconsistent.
Has anyone experienced anything similar with the Deco BE95 or found a fix for these kinds of stability/audio issues? Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated before I give up on the system entirely.
Thank you.
