I have an issue where my new Xfinity router runs WPA3 and an older piece of equipment for my swimming pool tht runs WPA.  Neither can be changed.  If I by the RE700X Range Extender will it support communication between my old pool equipment using WPA and my new routher using WPA3?

Hello @Byron300 ,

Yes, the RE700X can meet your needs. After configuring the RE700X, please manually change the encryption method to WPA via its web interface; this will allow your older pool equipment to connect to the RE700X.

  @Joseph-TP

Thank you for the information.  In looking through your available extenders I found that the RE700X looks like the lowest priced one that supports WPA3 and the issue that I have.  Does TP-Link have any other extenders that do the same thing for WPA3 to WPA for a lower price?

Thanks,

Byron Goree
