Talon AD7200 bridge mode

Model : Talon AD7200
Hardware Version : v1.0
Firmware Version :1.0.9 Build 20160602 rel.37987
ISP : none
Im testing the AD7200 for a client and trying to get a pair of them to bridge across the 60Ghz band. The System/System Parameters page has WDS bridge settings for the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands but not for the 60Ghz.
a) Is it possible to bridge the 60Ghz?
b) How to enable it?
Thank you
Jay

It seems tplink has a beta firmware with 60GHz WDS function. I got it from them.
You can ask them for help via hotline or email.

Thanks Anton. Would you have contact info for who you worked with at TPLink to get that? The person Ive been emailing with says bridging the 60Ghz is not possible. I asked when that functionality might be available, the response: "
I have consulted our senior engineer.Actually it is hard to say because it depends on the development of the 60G technology. "

Installation of the beta firmware was without issue. Beta FW is v1.0.0 from Feb 2016 so it is a bit older than what was on my routers (v1.0.8 on one and v1.0.9 on the other). I have not bothered to check rev history for what is different.
The Advanced | System Tools| System Parameters page now has settings for 60Ghz WDS. Enabling WDS per the users guide ( http://static.tp-link.com/res/down/doc/AD7200_V1_UG.pdf) works like a charm.
Two things that I found:
1) When I enabled 60Ghz WDS and hit the "survey" button, it completed immediately with no results. If I manually typed in the desired SSID then hit "survey" it found my other router and completed the survey as expected.
2) This is implied when you enable WDS but not really clear - bridging occurs on all of the enabled radios. Connecting to the router via LAN does not allow any control over which radio is used. For example, my test was to connect a laptop to the wired LAN port on each router and test throughput between them. Initially I was getting only 80Mbps - clearly not using the 60Ghz link. I disabled the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz radio in on the Advanced | Wireless page of each router and now I get what I expect ~850Mbps.

Hi jlash,
As you know, it's just a beta firmware which enables the 60GHz WDS feature. Thus it's not very well designed for the WDS communications.
So you will need to manually input settings of the desired AP.
In addition, we doesn't add 60GHz WDS feature in the official firmware because there are some bugs on this option and QCA still doesn't give any updates on it.

Please can you provide a current active download link for the AD7200 beta firmware which enables bridge mode at 60GHz. The link above no longer works unfortunately, at least not for me...
Many Thanks!

Hello Tp-Link fellows,
could someone please provide me with the beta firmware that enables WDS 60GHZ(via PM or directly in the thread).
I own 4 of AD7200s and would like to try this functionality.
Thx and Regards
