TP link Archer T8E not working

[COLOR=#CCCCCC]I got a TP-Link Archer T8E dual band wifi card for a new rig that I was building. I plugged in the card correctly and and system could detect it. I installed the driver that was on the disc that came with the card. Now my rig is able to see all the wifi connections nearby, including my home wifi connections. but can't connect to my home wifi connections. The rig is running Windows 10. I contacted TP-Link who told me to contact my ISP, both were unsuccessful in troubleshooting the problem. Could someone help me figure out how to fix this problem?
