hi,

I have an Archer A7 v5 and having problems with frequent 5G disconnection. My laptop is just near the router and when I get disconnected, other devices can't connect to the 5G connection also.

Any help?

tried any other wireless channel? or try to reset the router...

tried another channel and set the channel width to 20MHz as recommended by tech support but experiencing same issue.

without any troubleshooting the connection recovers within 1-2 minutes but this interruption is very annoying as it disconnects video viewing, conference calls, etc.

I have the same issue (Archer AC 1750), it drops signal everyday at least 3-4 times a day for no apparent reason.
Tried changing the channels / Firmware update......
WORST Router EVER - I'm ready to give up - can't believe they can't make it work !!!

email tp-link support to aks for further help..They should provide some other way to help to solve this issue..

was already in contact with support, the config changes were based on their suggestion. i just gave up, ordered the AC1900 from Amazon and returned this.
