I am very pleased with the Speedtest results with my Mac plugged into the tp-link, and the internet performance seem great BUT I CANNOT STREAM HIREZ AUDIO. Neither 24/96 or 24/192 stream without a lot of delays and interuptions. Even when my Mac is plugged into a tp-link in the same room as the base unit connected to the router (with an indicated link bandwidth of >1Gb, according to the tpPLC utility), the audio stream fails. When I move my Mac and plug it into the tp-link connected to the routrer - All Is Well. There is some kind of interference that the tp-link is introducing that interrupts the audio stream.

My ISP provides me with 100Mbs internet and the tp-links give that performance on the remote unit. (only 2 units in my system)

Does anyone have any light to shed on this topic?? This is the primary reason I bought the units. Wish I could sort this out.

Thanks - Loubendor

@Loubendor

You could try to enable the "Lower PLC-to-VDSL Interface Mode"

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/2027/

That may help reduce interference.

I’ll give it a try, but I think I’m resigned to geta cat 6 cable from my Mac to the router.

Thanks for the response.

I enabled "Lower PLC - ti - VDSL Interface Mode" and it had no impact on the Hi Res audio stuttering. But I appreciate the suggestion. I think the TP-Link Powerline products are going to be removed from the system.

Louis
