Model: RE450
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 Build 20171215 Rel. 55534

I have placed my RE450 in AP mode.  I can only connect 16 devices to it via the 2.4GHz WIFI network.

Is that a limitation of the hardware or do I need to change a configuration.  The main Router that the RE450 is connected to has about 80 available IP addresses.

Thank you,

R

@Roark1369

You are correct about the 16 connections, that is the most you can get on the 2.4Ghz. If any support 5GHz, try to move some to that band.

Dang it! Ok.. What if we use the onboard DHCP server, is the access point limited to only 16 connections?

@Roark1369

I checked with the test engineer and unfrotunatelly the 16 connection limit still stands.

I'm trying to see another alternative other then the obvious add another network device, but I am not sure if there is.
