Archer CR700 not showing all folders in Network Attached Device
My Archer CR 700 media server does not display all folders in the NAS when viewed from my xbox1 or moto z play2. I can't tell if this is a sharing problem or a problem with the router. Thanks for your help!

@Tony thanks for the quick reply. The NAS is a seagate 2TB. I beleived it's file system is NTFS with Master Boot Record for the partition type.

I have the same problem on Archer C2300 v2, FW 1.0.3.
To router I have connected over USB 3.0 external disk WD My Passport 4 TB and I shared one partition which have size 2.2 TB and is formated in exFAT.
In router options I have enabled share over Network Neighborhood and local FTP.
For better understanding, on this partition I have photos and movies, so from this reason I have a lot subfolders.
So when I want to see files on this shared partition I see folders in root folder, but when I go deeper in subfolders content is missing, but in some folders I can found something.
When I connect disk to computer is everything on disk ok.
Does anyone have idea where is problem?
It's looks like that is problem in router FW.

Both the CR700 and C2300 use miniDNLA in order to display the files, because of that you will have access to 10,000 files. If a router has less then 16MB of flash memory then that number would lower to 3,000 which both devices do not have.
As you examine both drives if files and folders are in excess of 10,000 files that could be why some are seen and others not.
Does the drive have an excess of 10,000 files?

My disk (partition) have more than 10000 files, but AC2300 have 256 MB RAM and 128 MB flash memory (not 16 MB as you wrote) and in the specification is no mention of any limitation anywhere for maximum number of files. I bought router one week ago and one of the priorities is to use a network drive for photo and video storage.
The second priority was the use of Time Machine which this router "support" and I have same problem. Router show whole partition empty, but on partition are backup files which are previously made directly over USB on computer.

So can we do anything here?
