Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.12

I got the v2 version from Costco. It says firmware version 1.2.12. I don't understand why would v2 hardware have a 1.x series firmware. Your website has an update after this buy app foes not recognize it. How to update to latest firmware? Also let me know if I can install v1 firmware on v2 hardware. My current version does not have web interface so dont know how to proceed.

Currently the update is not made available yet to the cloud, when it is you will see that in the app and will be able to easily update the Deco.

@Tony My hardware I received from Costco yesterday says v2.8 and has a firmware of 1.2.12 20191014 Rel. 42025.  Is this v2 hardware and when will there be a newer firmware?  This is missing many features from my Deco M5.

Yes, there will be a update, but there is no specific time yet. Your Deco is a version 2 regardless of the number after. 

 

We understand other users eagerly want to have the update, but we can only ask for your patience.
