How to setup HTTPS admin?

I have enabled this on the router: Advanced > System Tools > Administration > Local Management via HTTPS > enabled

Then I browse to the router IP and got a warning, then I exported the cert and imported to Trusted Root Certification Authorities (Windows 10 Home).

Reboot the PC and try again, I got a different warning: NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

Looks like I need to configure the router IP to be the common name, any pointers on how to do that?

@WRayX

There is not a certified cert for local https access. The browser is showing that saying the data is not encrypted, but does not realize if you are connecting to a local device or remote. In your case you are only accessing the router from your computer, you do not go out to the internet, everything is local so connecting only via HTTP is fine.

If you were connecting to a banking site or credit card site, then that would be a major concern or accessing your router remotely.
