My PC has been experiencing consistent packet loss with the exact same gap in between down times. I do not use a wifi adapter as I rely on an ethernet cable to connect to the internet.

 

I've tried multiple methods of attempting to fix it, however I'm unable to figure out its exact source.

 

My ISP says there is no issue with my modem and I have no issues when I have a direct connection to the modem, which for obvious reasons I cannot rely solely as a source of connection, which leaves me to my router.

 

No matter how many times I factory reset or change my cables I am unable to stop the packet loss. This is not an issue on my wireless devices as they all work just fine.

 

Edit: I'm not very familiar with any settings that would affect my router so if a solution is found please guide me through it.

Have to checked to see if the firmware is up to date. Also may want to try a factory reset.

So i checked and you are on the last firmware released for that model.  We can of course look at how the rotuer is configuered but we would need screenshots to help properly isolate any potential issues in the configuration.  I would ask who is your ISP?  Are they a cable provider?

 

If so open a web browser and go to 192.168.100.1.  This is typcially a cable modem's IP address to access its interface.  From there you can view the Logs.  You are specifcally looking for T3 and T4 timeouts.  These indicate a line issue and the ISP would need to do a maintenance dispatch to plant to resolve.  I know you said you ISP says there is no issues but when a phone or chat tech is looking at your service they are only looking for connection, not line quality.  

 

If they are not cable you can ask for a level 2 or 3 tech to run an intrusive line test.  This will help isolate and confirm the issue is not with there service or lines.

My ISP is Spectrum and they are a cable provider. Unfortunately I'm unable to access the modem's interface via the address that was given. I've trying to find this information by other sources, but I'm unable to find a solution.

Bypass your router and connect your PC direct to the modem and then try to sign on to the modem http://192.168.100.1/ for you modem logs and info.
