I have bought new TL WR845N router.

 

I am using Microsoft teams from my Windows  10 laptop for calls. I observ many time. Router start behaving randomly when i do call on teams. Voice on teams call start getting cracking. If i try to access router web page, i can not access it. Other applicaion on laptop mail/browser also are not able to access the internet.

But the voice call doesn't gets disconnected completly, it goes on but with breaking voice. Facing this issue 80% of time when i use Microsoft teams for calls.

 

This is very strange issue. I belive existing UDP packet channel remain on but new TCP/UDP doesn't get thorough router.

 

I need  Microsoft teams and internet working badly. I hate this model. Unfortunatly i can't replace this piece of router with othter model.

 

Any workaround possible? Will firmware change helps? Does swithcing to OpenWRT firmware can help?

If connecting via WIFI, use the 5 GHz if you are close enough, try specific channels and band width and also try connecting via cable. If using a VPN, try without it. Try a different Ethernet cable between the router an modem and router and PC..
