Model: TD-W8980
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0.6.0 1.8 v000e.0 Build 150514 Rel.40138n

Hello, new over here

My Router has DLNA function, i set a Folder inside a External Hard Disk Connected via USB to my Router.

All goes ok and can be visible on All my devices

However after certain amount of time of inactivity (less than 1 hour and more than 10 minutes AFIK) it dissapears and cant be accesible again.

The only way to make visible again is by reboot the device.

There is no USB Drive issues because I have the same drive as a FTP for long time and never shuts down.

Firmware is the last updated for this device.

@Maximus2020

High load on the CPU due to USB functionality can cause it to hang up, this may be the same case in that the router CPU hangs even with the USB being idle. Utilizing a computer or a NAS system may be a better alternative as the router would continue to hang.

Hi, and thanks for your reply. I am thinking the same but just happens on DLNA and after being inactive. I let playing media files for more than hour and it didnt stopped. Is like kinda of auto suspension after X minutes, but didnt wake up until reboot.
