no bandwidth control on AX50!!
I can't believe that ax50 has no bandwidth control, my old wr841n has a better firmware, how is this possible?? is it any "coming soon" update that will re-add this basic feature?
is it a poll to vote up for this feature to come back? can someone link it to me? I am seriously considering give it back and change for another router
PD: it heats up like a notebook, easily getting 50°c with almost no configuration and just 4 devices on (low load work)

Because bandwidth control and QOS address the concern a router will have one or the other. Because the AX50 is equiped with the TM powered HomeCare and QOS is a part of this software suite bandwidth control will not be added to the AX50. Typically bandwidth control is only on our older or 2.4GHz only routers.

But none of those (Homecare or QoS) allow that kind of configuration/limitations as a bandwidth control (BC), these are not a replacement.
I'm not even close to an expert in these kinds of features but I am curious, what is the impossibility to add BC to the router? is it for 5 GHz band, wifi6, dual-band?
Which would be the newest of your router that still has BC? I still have time to refund this one

i can tell you that i have an old dual band router that has BC.... and i have a AX50 too and i'm very disappointed that this router doesn't have BC i mean it costs 4 times as my old router (that still works) and lack some functions that the old one had...
very disappointed that the most expensive tp link router (at least in my country) doesn't have a simple function like BC.
also the QoS settings doesn't even let you change the way you want to limit or prioritize your network it only give's you a set of option that don't mean anything, heck the tab its called "application priority" and yet it won't let you chose what applications to chose from...
very, very dissapointed.

Good Morning
I bought a 2 AX 50 to replace my two old routers
One of them was the WDR4300 ( have option of bandwithcontrol)
And in this new routers we have no option of bandwithcontrol
How is it possible?
When is this option implemented on the AX50?
