Model: Deco M9 Plus
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Starting with Coax in, on Xfinity ISP, using my own non MoCa modem, and 1 of 3 Deco M9plus as the router.  Can this be used to run MoCa backhaul?  Does anyone know about using birectional splitters, Poe filters, and where those should go in the system?  Can this be setup in the interior of the house (ie living room), or does this need to be set up where it enters into the actual house, ie front bedroom closet?  Thank you in advance, as I am a technophobe/newbie in need of help!

@Jbird

The Deco units utilize the IEEE 1905.1 protocol in order to communicate with each other via Ethernet. If the MoCa backhaul is not able to carry that over, then the Deco won't be able to utilize the Ethernet backhaul. This was an issue with some third party switches.
