Accessing USB on router requires password
Hi
I am on a mac and when I attempt to access my USB on the router using smb, I am faced with a user and password request for 192.168.1.1
So I assume this must be my router admin name and pass, but they are rejected. They are both correct.
I cant think what other name and pass could be required?
Thx
N

@nickharm Ive tried a lot of things. The USB disk is listed on my TP web interface as connected but no amount of fiddling with settings wil get me past the password control on smb. I even changed the router admin name and pass to new ones, still no joy,

@ArcherC8 It seems you can connect a printer via that USB port, with a cable. (which seems kind of unecessary as so many printers are wifi enabled anyway)
And it seems to say it is also a disk drive port,
