Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

(brand new to TP-Link...please feel free to speak my language 'techno-idiot')

Just installed new router; returned old router to it's original box, discovering

it's predecessor stored inside that box!!  Now I have TWO 'old' routers! Can

either/both be re-configured to serve as extenders??   Both are Netgear's:

(1) Nighthawk AC1900 R7000 and (2) N600.  Or is there any other purpose

for them...other than tossing into already overcrowded landfill??  Thank you.

@TexasIndian

I do not see why you could not set up your former routers as range extenders. I know you can repurpose our routers to be extenders that support "WDS Bridging". I would follow up with your former router maker and see what you configure in that device since it's the device that will be an extender is what is configured.
