Model: Archer C50
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: Archer C50(BR)_V4_190125

Hello!

Thanks for even reading in advance!

When i've got this router (Archer C50, V4) i had a 100mb connection, but since it advertise it have 300mbps on 2.4g and 8xxmbps on 5g, i thought that it could handle faster connections.

Since the start of the week i've upgraded my internet to 400mb down and 200 up, but i could not, in any way, share this speed with the router.

The fast i got, in both 2.4g an 5g is 94.xx, both up and down.

I've understand that this router has a 10/100mb por only (i even got a CAT7 and CAT 8 cables for this) but is it possible to use this full speed in other way? Like Acess Point or something? I've already tried some stuff, like WDS, but got the same result.

Thanks!!

@Biosim500

You are only as fast as the slowest link. In you case it is the router.

The 100 limit on the WAN and LAN is as fast as it will go.

You need a router with gigabit speed.
