Model: Archer AX21  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.1 Build 20201202 rel.76564(5553)

Just purchased this router three days ago. Phenomenal WiFi router, however, has been randomly shutting itself off. Any ideas why this is? I haven't touched any configurations other than the quick setup and QoS. The system logs display the observed behavior without any reason. I'm going to attempt to connect the power adapter to a different outlet and see if it's a faulty connection.

Good idea to try a different outlet. Could be a bad outlet or something on the same circuit.

 

Be sure you are using the power adapter that came with the router.

 

Be sure to give the router a lot of breathing room. When if fails, does it feel very hot?

 

If you are using an UPS, try without it.

 

Check for a firmware update -  https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/archer-ax21/

 

After checking that, I would contact support.
