AX-10 plus 3x RE505X in MESH - not using LAN back-haul?
Hi
I configured my AX10 and 3 RE505X devices successfully to be a MESH. However, it does not look like the RE505's are using the LAN, but are instead trying to use the WiFi to communicate with the AX10. I base this on the fact that:
a) All 3 devices have a red light on the "wifi" icon on the device itself, and
b) when connected on one of the RE505's ( I *think* I am connected to one of them at least) - the throughput speed is very low.
IS there a way that I can force the RE505's to use the LAN conection, and is there a way for me to see to which device I'm actually connected?

Update:
this morning, after a long struggle to figure out why the network is excruciatingly slow, I eventually tracked it to the RE505X units - and in particular, the fact that they are connected to the LAN via cable as well. I had to remove the LAN cable from the units before the network speed returned to normal.
Can someone please help me - is there something specific that needs to be done when connecting/configuring the RE505 to be part of the MESH? In all the marketing material, it states that for extender function, you simply plug the RE505 into the LAN, but it seems this is not compatible if you want to use it as part of the mesh instead?

Hi, the OneMesh™ products can’t support the ethernet backhaul, which means the RE505X can only build up a Onemesh network with the AX10 via Wi-Fi. Follow this guide to confirm the connection and configuration are correct on both the AX10 and RE505X:

Thanks for the clarification - I guess it is what it is - and to be honest, it's disappointing since I'm assuming that each of the RE505x devices must then be within WiFi coverage of the router - or can they daisy chain off each other? The furthest room in my house is not within range at all - so how do I get the MESH to extend further?
