Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: newest

Hi All,

My first time using this forum.

Just bought this router, went through the Quick set-up with no issues. Speed test seems great, I have Comcast 1.2 Gigabits, and it's getting 900+mbps.

However the issue I am having is some devices connect with no issues, but other devices connect but no internet connection.

I tried to add DHCH server 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4     but didn't seem to help at all.

There is no pattern that I could detect, sometimes it happens to my phone, other times laptop or smart tv. Other times, they connected just fine.

Perhaps I just bought a lemon? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Hardware Version 1.6

Firmware: Archer AX11000(US)_V1.6_210719

Hi @DieBiach

Thanks for reaching out to us. This issue is a little weird.

Next time, if a client connects to AX11000's Wi-Fi but can't get internet access, please check the IP address and default gateway/router on this device.

How to find IP address on your devices?

I am afraid there is another device in your network that assign IP address to the clients.

Changing DNS setting to 8.8.8.8 etc. generally would not address this type of problem. Try forgetting the wifi network on the devices having the problem and then rejoining. Otherwise, try factory resetting the wifi router and reconfigure. Sometimes this can correct some configuration issues that do not migrate well following a firmware update.
