Model: Archer AX4400
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hey all, I'm new to the community, but have been using TP-Link routers for a couple years now since Apple discontinued their AirPort line.

My question is, I recently purchased an AX400 v1.0 and when I looked at the support site it also lists a v1.60, but I wasn't able to find anything explaining what the differences were between the hardware version.  So far, I've had a very postive experience with hte new router.  It was pretty much plug and play into my existing setup and the network has run extremely smoothly.  Routers are a device, I like to set and forget whenever possible and so far, this one has been just that.

Anyway, if someone has information on hte hardware differences.  I would be curious to know.

Thanks

Hello @iFrog,

V1.0 is basically the same as V1.6, you can find the note below:

https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/archer-ax4400/#Firmware

Normally Vx.0=Vx.6/Vx.8 (eg:V1.0=V1.6/V1.8);   Vx.x0=Vx.x6/Vx.x8 (eg:V1.20=V1.26/V1.28)

The basic functions and features are the same on both V1.0 and V1.6, we generally update the package and product label to mark the package or production revision.
