I am having an issue with this router, where I have a cable modem, and the cable modem creates an initial network, like 192.168.100.1, and it allows one other address, which would be the router (Archer AX 11000).  The modem after about 30 seconds to a minute, gets provisioned by the cable internet provider, which would be at an ip address that is not 192.168. So once this provisioning happens, where my isp provisions the public ipv4 address, I need to either restart the Archer AX11000, or renew the dhcp lease on the WAN side of the Archer AX11000, and the Archer AX11000 is stuck with the ip address of 192.168.100. whatever the modem initially hands out, and it will not aquire the new ipv4 address given by the ISP.  It seems like once the Archer makes the first dhcp request it will not use the new public ipv4 address.  Is this a bug, or is there some configuration option I am missing, my ISP is Xfinity.

There was an issue with the firmware you are running.

 

You can update and install the early release version they provided in this link:

That firmware update says it is only for version 1. What about people running versions 1.6?

That can be installed on v1.6 as well, because v1.0=v1.6.
