Model: Archer AX1800
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

It's a bit of a setup here.  We have Starlink>CPE210 AP>CPE210 Client>AX1800 Router

The router only recognizes the Client 210 as 10 Mbps.  If I plug directly into the Client 210, I get full speed.  Using the router, I only get 10 Mbps.

I tried changing the internet port negations speed settings but would just lose connection.

I'm learning as I go, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Have you tried to use a different ethernet cable ? Sometimes a working cable can cause this behavior. Try with another one of a good quality (Cat 5e/6).

In rare cases this can be caused by a faulty ethernet port on the device. Here's a troubleshooting guide for this type of issue.

So this morning I had it working.  It was correctly labeled as 100mbps Full Duplex.  Speeds where fine for a couple of hours and now it has switch back the 10mbps. I've tried a couple of cables as well.

Hi,

I'm wondering if there is a possibility to test and confirm whether you can get 100Mbps or 1000Mbps negotiation when connecting the AX1800 directly to the Starlink.

If they can negotiate at a correct speed, then I may say the distance or the cable between the CPE210 client and the AX1800 may be the cause of the issue. You need to try with a shorter cable or one with a better quality.

So, I forgot to mention that if I plug directly into the Client CPE210 (at the point it plugs into the router), I get full speeds. Also, the cable length max is 200ft Cat6. From the router to my pc is a 50ft (assuming) Cat6 and there aren't any sharp corners, kinks, etc. throughout all lines.
