I have an existing Deco M5 network consisting of 3 M5 units. One of the M5's is attached to my Starlink modem. I have purchased 2 additional Deco M5's with the intent to add them to my existing network. I was assuming (hoping) all I would need to do is take one of the new M5's and the existing network would find and connect it. But, I'm having trouble. I am using the TP-Link app. The app finds my new M5 just fine - it's flashing blue and everything. But when I try to connect through the app, it tells me I don't have an ethernet connection to my modem. Obviously the current installation does have this. What am I doing wrong here?

All you need to do:

1. Power up one of the new units.

2. Wait for the light to pulse blue

3. Open the Deco App

4. Tap the '+' on the right top of the screen

5. Chooe 'add a Deco unit'

6. Follow the onscreen instructions

7. Repeat until all units have been added.

@Carl My Deco app does not have a '+' in the upper right hand corner. There is no way (that I can tell) to choose to "add a Deco unit".

The splash page on my Deco app looks like the following:

Can you provide a picture? I have not seen a Deco app that does not have the "+" in the upper corner.

Hope you can see the screenshot attached.

The splash screen of the Deco app simply begins with "Paint Your Home in Wi-Fi", the there's a "let's begin" button. Subsequent screens do not permit to choose "add a deco".
