Firmware Version:

I would like to update my C7 router's firmware. On the router label I see the hardware version is 2.0 . I have downloaded version 5.8.

If I unzip and then run the downloaded app, will I have to set up my router from the beginning again?

So V2 and V5.8 are different hardware. The firmware is not compatible. If you have a V2 of the C7 the only firmware you can load or should is the V2's
