Model: Deco XE75 Pro

Firmware Version: 1.2.2

Hi,

I've been having network hardware issues lately. My Netgear Orbi died on me, got the XE75 Pro and was very happy until now when my Negear CM2000 modem went down as well. So I need a new modem to go with my Xfinity 1.4G cable connection and my brand new XE75 Pro. Does it matter which modem I get as long as it is compatible with Xfinity and can deal with 1.4G? There aren't really that many to choose from: Netgear, Arris, Motorola and Hitron (why doesn't TP-Link have mullti-gig DOCSIS 3.1 modems?). But I would like to ask before I buy in case there's one that will work better with the XE75 Pro than the others.

  @cdysthe

Hi, welcome to the community.

I think all you need is to guarantee the new cable modem is compatible with Xfinity and can deal with 1.4G bandwidth.

Deco XE75 pro is supposed to work with most mainstream DOCSIS 3.1 modems.

Best regards.
