I'd like to mount my router on the ceiling in my closet on the 2nd floor of my home. Mounting it this way will mean it's upside down.

Two questions:

1) Will the router work OK in this upside down position or does it need to be right-side down or wall-mounted?

2) Assuming an upside down ceiling mount is OK, what's the best orientation(s) for the antennas? I currently have 2 of them vertically (perpendicular to the base, or 90 degrees), two at ~60 degrees, and two at ~30 degrees.

We have 44 devices connected to our router, about half on the first floor and half on the second. The closet is roughly centrally located on the second floor.
