Model: Archer AXE75
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.9 Build 20231115 rel.37295(5553)

Hi everyone. Very simply put my 5G band on my AXE75 just disappears. Every device in the house disconnects. My parents called me last night and they have the same router with the same issue happening. Can anyone explain this?

Both AXE75's at my house and my parents have the latest firmware. These were very expensive routers and now im starting to regret buying them. I saw other posts about this issue and people said update the firmware which did not fix the issue for me. A temporary solution i found is to factory reset the routers and the issue goes away for some time, but then returns again over time.

I would also like to add that when the problem starts all the computers in the house can see the network but say "can't connect to this network" then shortly after it disappears completely.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

  @McDx

Hi, please try disabling smart connect, then change the 5G WiFi channel from Auto to a static one such as channel 36, 40 etc., after that, please check if the issue still happens and 5G WiFi still disappears or not.
