AX6000 with google fiber streaming issue
Could use some advice on an out of home streaming issue with my setup.
My Google Fiber comes to the front of my house. From the fiber jack, I ran a 50' cat 6 cable to my AX6000 in my study. My Dish receiver is also in my living room (front of house) and it has a 50' cat 6 run to my #1 jack on my router. My plex machine is 15' away from my router so it's connected directly into my #2 jack on my router. So no switches between either the plex or the Dish TV receiver.
When I'm out of the house and want to stream, I regularly get a buffering signal (usually the spinning circle) on a Plex or Dish TV playback. Even if I drop my Chromecast down to 720 instead of 1080.
In this example my wifi connect speed in my hotel is 250mbps down and 35mbps up.
If I stream a streaming service (ie: Prime or Netflix or Hulu), no buffering so I assume the issue is in my own network or some setting I'm overlooking.
When this happens I login remotely to my router and it consistently shows over 800 mbps up and down speed.
I've also gone to the QOS screen in the router and set each device (Plex server and Dish TV) for priority.
Still this happens.
Anyone have any ideas?
