connection issues
having issue connecting my Wi-Fi thermostat to this router, i put in mac address and it is listed under client list
it connects to my router but thermostat app doesn't connect, so i cant access the thermostat via app
message under wifi settings for thermostat says connected without internet
what steps am i missing? i must b super close since it does connect to router

What brand/model thermostat are you using?

Some devices require that bluetooth be turned on to make the initial connection. May need to power cycle both the device and the phone/tablet/pc

ive tried all that a week ago. tried every trouble shooting option on sensi website.
if router connect without internet it has to be something simple. im to the point that i just buy a new thermostat but the interface and app have been awesome with zero service issues the 3 yrs ive had it until now trying to connect to this new router

When a device has been connected to another router and will not connect to the new router, even if the ssid and password is the same, you need to delete (forget) the network on the device then reestablish it. It is somewhat common.
If no option for delete network on the device, factory reset the device.
The other issue may be the router wifi security settings are different (set higher than the older router) as some older devices do not support higher security. Also many iot devices need to be on the 2.4 GHz band.
