Hey Everyone,

We have received reports that after updating the Archer BE400/BE6500 to firmware version 1.2.3 Build 20260107 rel.48335, Wi-Fi may not work correctly if only one Wi-Fi band is turned on. For example, if 2.4 GHz is turned off, devices may not be able to connect to 5 GHz. Alternatively, if 5 GHz is turned off, devices may not be able to connect to 2.4 GHz; Wi-Fi works properly only when both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands are enabled.

Applies to:

Archer BE400_V1_1.2.3 Build 20260107 rel.48335

Archer BE6500_V1_1.2.3 Build 20260107 rel.48335

Available Solution:

The cause of this unexpected behavior has been identified, and our R&D department has released a beta firmware version that user ashish7adlakha has tested and confirmed fixes the behavior.

If your Archer BE400/BE6500_V1 device also experiences this anomaly after updating to version 1.2.3, please try manually downloading and installing the beta firmware at the link below to remedy the anomaly:
